After my initial training as a precision mechanic and extensive travels in India and South America, I trained as a photographer at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
Under the label Luxwerk, I offer the entire image process from concept to image editing.
I like to get things done with a healthy mix of pragmatism and tact. In the last few years I've shot everything from 27-carat diamonds in Zurich to chemical plants in China.
Whether it's blizzards on the Canadian border, heat waves in the Israeli desert, or a very irritating French customs officer — I don't let myself get rattled until I get the image I'm looking for.
I support well-known companies as a freelance photographer, developing and producing visual worlds for brand, communication and marketing.
Working either with agencies or directly with clients, I offer an end-to-end service — from concept development and planning to the shoot itself and final retouching.
Over the past two years, I've also been creating film and video projects together with Michel Gächter, with a focus on architecture, under the label twothinmen.ch.
